Rotary is the first worldwide organization of clubs committed to service.
District 2032 brings together 42 clubs from Liguria and the Piedmont provinces of Alessandria, Asti and Cuneo and more than 2,400 Rotarians all motivated to put their professional skills and personal experience at the service of others.
Rotary’s goal is to encourage and promote the ideal of serving as the engine and propeller of all business.
Each July, Rotary District 2032 continues its mission, inspired by the new theme announced by Rotary International.
The Governor-in-Office fulfills his or her mandate consistent with Rotary’s motto of interaction, leaving his or her own imprint.
In the year 2021-22, Rotary International’s motto was: “Serve to Change Lives”.
Governor Silvia Scarrone asked us, for her mandate, for a visual identity project that would express her commitment and mission in line with the international motto and the Rotary brand.
At the basis of the work, in the concept definition briefing, some milestones emerged:
- To really create a change, you need to work together and feel united, united by a strong understanding, obtainable with a true, constructive and collaborative personal communication .
- The power of communication lies precisely in its ability to generate sharing, collaboration and progress.
- Communication is the tool that will allow us to combine the efforts of each of us for something greater than individual contributions. A union of intentions, of brains, of people willing and capable of making the values and mission of Rotary their own and translating them into great projects.
- Reference to the family of Rotary, Rotaract and Interact, through their respective colors.
A focus therefore on the importance of communication as an element capable of creating union among Rotarians, a union that adds the talents and abilities of each one for a noble and superior project, such as serving to change lives.
